Maintenance Supervisor description:
Responsibilities: Supervise maintenance staff. Develops, counsels, motivates and resolves associate relations issues and conducts performance appraisals and monitors performance of maintenance associates. Maintains efficiency and safety of all equipment. Monitors the daily operation and directs action as required. Coordinates daily maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoots equipment and does preventative maintenance. Coordinates with the managers and supervisors to establish priorities and schedules the workload to satisfy production needs. Coordinates with local contractors and vendors for equipment and services as required. Orders parts and equipment and obtains services for repairs and maintenance of the facility’s equipment.
Requirements:Minimum of two years supervisory experience. 3-5 years experience working with conveyor systems and powered equipment in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Must have general knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, water systems, building repairs and housekeeping procedures. Strong knowledge of building codes, trade standards and general practices within the maintenance field. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High School diploma required. |
