The Nevada Professional Facility Managers Association was founded in November 1991. The vision of the organization is to be a professional association dedicated to the enhancement of engineering, maintenance, operations and management of commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. We will move toward the future enlightened through education, communication and alliance. These will be the keys to success in our association and in our industry.
Education is the first core principle of NPFMA. We carefully select the guest speaker and topics for our breakfast meetings. We realize that the professional facility manager’s time is extremely valuable. Therefore, we concentrate on topics that are critical to building operations and our industry. We have partnered with ProFM to bring the most comprehensive and universal accreditation program to develop Facility Managers skillset. NPFMA has provided over $60,000 in scholarships to students wishing to enhance and further their education.
Community Service is our second core principle. NPFMA holds an annual Golf Tournament benefiting our scholarship fund and local charities. The annual tournament has enabled NPFMA to donate over $600,000. Our Community Action Committee also engages in several family friendly projects throughout the year designed to give back to the community that has given so much to NPFMA’s success.
